What’s a Timebank?

A Timebank is a tool by which a group of people can exchange their time and skills without the use of money.

Everybody’s time is valued equally so for every one hour you give, you get an hour in return. Your credit is banked and can be spent on other member’s time and skills.

The Timebank fosters a sense of community by increasing neighbourliness, improving well-being and helping those in need.
